Our people rejoice! Back in the studio to discuss what’s different with Jack and Johnnie. Johnnie’s playing more basketball and Jack got a new job! Johnnie hates his job, so Jack takes this opportunity to gush about his new job and the differences in clientele. What a dick. Also, we start formulating our grand restaurant rating scale. This will be the end all be all of rating systems, so it’s going to take some time. Any suggestions?

In this last segment, our guest, Alex Naticchioni, stops by to talk his shop, The Wine Bar. Dude’s from Colorado, so naturally, we asked him why Long Beach and the motivation behind a wine bar. We talk about the details of The Wine Bar, which it should be said, is located at 250 Ocean Ave. in Long Beach, ground floor of the Camdens building. Also, his lady and buddy (Ashley and Richie, respectively) join us in studio. Listen Up!

The Christmas Party Episode Act V

This is your podcast on drugs. Things start to heat up when we get Steve and Linzy together on the mics to talk about the BBVG (Bumble Bee Vag Grab) incident and the possible BBVGs of the future. Linzy is a walking, talking “that’s what she said” joke and proves it here with gems such as: “they were all going to run train on me”, “better than having a boner” and everyone’s favorite…”There’s NOT going to be a GANG BANG!!!” On at least two separate occasions Jack drunkenly blows up on her. Jack’s a mess. It’s kind of embarrassing. Thank God for Johnnie keeping it together. Our friend Jeff, who is a great supporter of the jobless, comes on for some air time. Also, our friend, Grant, and Johnnie’s girlfriend, Randi, come on for a little cameo. For some reason Hammerhead sharks get brought up and Bob and Jack end it on an A cappella version of White Christmas. Well that’s it folks! Season One! In. The. Books! That was fun, let’s do this again.

The Christmas Party Episode Act IV

Jack had the bright idea to put our friends Candice and Bob on air at the same time. The two of them are like fire and water. This whole segment is absolute mayhem and the guest/topic concept gets thrown out the window by the seat of it’s pants. Everyone’s been drinking for several hours at this point. Bob even misspells his own last name. The highlight of this act is the first ever Dishin’ It Out-On Air-Arm Wrestling Match. This could be confusing though because it sounds like they’re making love followed by loud yelling. As a matter of fact, most of this is yelling. What a fucking mess. Sorry if you’re listening to this in headphones.

The Christmas Party Episode Act III

In this segment we talk to Clayton. He’s one of Johnnie’s friends from the Yucca. We couldn’t get him to talk into his mic at first, so bear with us. Clayton is an interesting character. At the beginning of the party he was walking around, not really talking to anyone, but when he started to, he said something about jimson weed (also known as gypsum weed). We decided that should be his topic. Here he describes his first and only experience with jimson weed, starting with a hippie in a hot spring and a home in the desert. It starts out slow but Jack and Johnnie agree this is the most compelling piece of material they’ve made so far. It’s almost a wake-up call, Don’t Do Drugs…… like jimson weed. Diana helps out with comic relief too.

The drinks are flowing heavy by now and we got our boyyyyz Jerry James and Waylon Krumrie on the mics. This is where the show format starts to get lost…. and Jerry calls us on it. Waylon decides he wants to talk about “The Holidays” or to be more specific, Christmas vs. The Holidays. As things usually happen around here, we get off topic. You can tell everyone’s wasted when someone shouts out Darwin and it takes 8 or 9 seconds for anyone to think of ”survival of the fittest”. Since Waylon is Jacks roommate, obviously, we talk about Jack’s pajama selection. Finally, coming full circle, we end on the subject we started on, Christmas vs. The Holidays.

After popping the bottles and introductions, it’s time to celebrate the holidays! Let’s do a podcast! We decided to let the guests pick the topics for this episode, which started out well enough but ended horribly wrong. Our first guests are Eric and Alicia, a couple, who got introduced by their dogs. They tell us what and where they love in Long Beach. Alicia used to work at a flower shop, so we start talking about our favorite flowers. Eric comes up short on a topic so we just end up shooting the shit.

The cast is drowning at this point. The labor involved in forming sentences here is mind blowing. Listen for it. We start out by talking about Linzy’s marriage, which is anyone’s guess, and try to bring the show back on to course. As it turns out though, we just weren’t capable of restaurant talk after all those drinks. It’s actually kind of embarrassing. “The Wire” gets brought up, once again, and these drunks start gushing! The conversation evolves into talk about comedies and then low-quality programming like “Grey’s Anatomy”. And then movies. Jesus, good thing we’re not drinking on the show until The Christmas Party Episode. (see above)

After probably 45 minutes and 5 shots/ beers later, we’re back! And drunk! Your first clue is Jack’s “cum dumpster” comment. Also, the liberal use of the word “however”. Our guest, Linzy, tries to set the record straight about her nickname “Triple Kiss”, but Jack just won’t have it, and then we go over different techniques for a triple kiss. Also, the BBVG incident sees it’s first light.
